We mourn the loss of one of Jacksonville's great coaches William "Bill" Reed. He served as a coach and teacher for 43 years, over a decade of that at Jacksonville High School. His coaching career includes three state championships in football (Jacksonville 1976, 1978, & 1981), producing nine players that played in the NFL (including NFL Hall of Famer Dan Hampton and two time Super Bowl Champion Rod Smith). Jacksonville celebrates his life and and contributions to our students and athletes. Once a Red Devil, always a Red Devil.
