Pinewood Elementary third grade teacher, Courtney Reaves, and lead learner, Karen Norton, have been selected to participate in the Innovation Institute June 7 and 8 in Springdale.
Their session, Engaging Readers and Writers Using #Booksnaps, provides a fun, creative way for students to reflect as they study their notes, read books or interact with any type of text. This unique tool can also be used by adult learners to chart their own learning during book studies, note taking or personal journaling.
The Innovation Institute, now in its third year, provides educators a variety of opportunities to explore the potential of educational technology and best practices in schools across the state. More information about the Institute can be found at Innovation Institute.
