The Jacksonville North Pulaski School District, the Board of Education, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and several local and state elected officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony on January 13 to celebrate the grand opening of Jacksonville Elementary School.
Dozens of community members attend the event, which took place in front of the school, located at 2400 Linda Lane in Jacksonville.
Following a brief ceremony, guests were able to take a tour of the new state-of-the-art elementary school.
Jacksonville Elementary School serves scholars in grades K-5. Pinewood Elementary and Warren Dupree Elementary combined earlier this year to form the all-new JES.
