On September 16th, JHS AFJROTC cadets joined forces with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and seven AR-081 cadets were granted flights by Pinnacle Mountain to Saline County Airport. The cadets were given a mission briefing, a safety walk around the aircraft, and the opportunity to actually fly the aircraft once they were airborne. This is the third year that CAP has joined forces with AR-081 to give cadets flights in hopes that they will get the "Flying Bug" and have the desire to become pilots.
