Thirteen high school scholars from Titan Academy attended StemFest at the Little Rock Air Force Base on Friday. Students learned about jobs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) that could turn into careers. Simulators allowed students to fly fighter jets, drive 18 wheelers, and work on heavy equipment. Representatives from various careers including the Little Rock Zoo, Arkansas Game & Fish, and Summit explained how to connect with their companies when looking into jobs/careers. To highlight the event, various demonstrations of the Thunderbird aircraft soared through the sky! It was a great day for our students.
