Welcome to Taylor Elementary School

Murrell Taylor Elementary School opened in August 1981. Ms. Anne Irby was the first principal of the school. The original campus housed scholars in kindergarten through sixth grade and was part of the Pulaski County Special School District. In 2016-17, Murrell Taylor became part of the newly formed Jacksonville North Pulaski School District. Murrell Taylor currently serves scholars in grades K-5 and all of the district's CBI scholars.

  • Began career as a 4th grade teacher in North Little Rock, Arkansas

  • 2003 graduate of Little Rock Central High School

  • Received college degrees from University of Arkansas at Little Rock and University of Central Arkansas

  • 17th Year in Education

  • Began career in 2nd grade in North Little Rock School District
