It is Autism Awareness Month. Here at JMS we are showing our support this week with some dress up days for Autism Acceptance Week. See below for what your scholar can wear to show support of the Autistic community.

The next JNPSD school board meeting will take place Monday, March 14 at 6:00 pm inside the JHS Cafeteria.
AFJROTC Drill Camp will be held March 7-9, 2022 at Jacksonville Middle School. This event is for 7th & 8th grade JNPSD scholars. Eighth graders who are planning to take AFJROTC in the fall are strongly encouraged to attend. Free event. Led by Bill Owens, a professional drill instructor with Competitive Outcomes.
JNPSD is hosting a Job Fair & Career Expo on Tuesday, March 15 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm inside Titan Arena. We are looking for dedicated and high-quality candidates who are interested in making a difference.
The 5A State Tournament begins today in Sheridan. The Titan Varsity Boys will take on Russellville at 2:30 pm. Here is the livestream link to the game for those who cannot travel to Sheridan.

The JNPSD Special Education Department is now located inside the former Pinewood Elementary School building. The address is 1919 Northeastern Avenue, Jacksonville, AR 72076. The new fax number is 501.241.2054.
There will be a 2-hour delayed start for all JNPSD schools on Friday, February 25. Staff will report to work two hours past their normal start time.
Students will report to the bus stop or school 2 hours later than usual.
Scholars should return to school with their completed AMI packets.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, all JNPSD schools will be closed to on-site instruction on Thursday, February 24. Scholars should complete their AMI packets while they are out of school.

Beginning Wednesday, February 23, 2022, the school day will be 15 minutes longer for scholars at Jacksonville Middle School.
A need for increased instructional time at the high school, along with transportation/bus schedules, were factors in the decision.
